Confined in a home for twenty-eight days with two of the wealthiest people in London, a sailor, and a twelve year old orphaned girl. The audience experiences what it really means to be in a home during the bubonic plague of 1665. I used a sixteen speaker surround system to confine the space. Each seat in the house was a different experience with different voices whispering in your ear. And as the twenty-eight days passed, social structures began to crumble. People of different statuses began to wear the clothes of the wealthiest guy in the room. Using shotgun mics meticulously focused to actors' footsteps, we introduced the idea that shoes hold so much power.
